The Crosslé 90F is a continuation of the Crosslé 16F, which means that it is a newly manufactured car, based on the same historic model.

In the late 1960s, the Crosslé Car Company, a Northern Irish manufacturer of racing cars, developed the Crosslé 16F to compete in Formula Ford. At the time, this category was a key gateway to Formula One, before other series took over at the beginning of the 21st century. Ayrton Senna, Eddie Irvine and Jenson Button all won the British Formula Ford championship before entering the pinnacle of motorsport.

At the Classic Racing School, you’ll drive a Crosslé 90F. Manufactured since 2016, these cars are built in the Crosslé factory in Belfast using the same tools, plans and techniques as the original cars from the 60s. Slight modifications have been made to improve driving comfort and safety, such as the chassis and the position of the pedals.
